Set up for arm bar

Drop elbow and shift to grab arm

Roll shoulder to apply the arm bar

Arm Bar Reversal 1:

Pic 1: On person on the left is setting up to apply the arm

Pic 2: The person on the right has the chance to stop the arm bar by shifting in and bending his right elbow down and catching the left hand of the opponent.

Pic 3: Here the opponents arm bar has been stopped and the person on the left has applied an arm bar to the left arm of the opponent. This technique has to be timed and done with a twisting of the opponents arm in order to cause the shoulder to roll.
